Tutoring
There are lots of opportunity to get assistance with your academics. Students should never be afraid to ask for help.
Tutoring Resources:
- 1-to-1 Tutoring Program in the Office of Success Programs offers free tutoring to all Georgia Tech undergraduate students. Tutoring is offered in over 70 courses, with special emphasis on introductory courses. Tutors in Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, ECE, ME, as well as other courses are available to meet with a student for a one hour session each week. All of our tutors are accomplished undergraduate or graduate students.
- The Freshman Experience Learning Assistance Program provides free tutoring Sunday through Thursday for three to four hours each night in calculus, chemistry, and physics directly in the residence halls. The program is unique because it provides tutoring where you live, which means getting the answers you need in a more personal atmosphere.
- OMED Educational Services offers a wide range of academic assistance and support for all Tech students, but with a special emphasis on serving the African American, Hispanic, Latino, and Native American students.
- Tutor-Vision is call-in tutoring airing live on gtcn20. Student tutors are available for assistance with Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics
- Office of Success Programs workshops are available at various times throughout the semester to assist undergraduate students in enhancing and refining their academic skills. Workshops are facilitated by highly qualified faculty and staff from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines appropriate to the topic area presented.
- Math Lab in the School of Mathematics offers free tutorial help in the Math Lab for the following courses: 1113, 1501, 1502, 1522, 1711, 1712, 2401, 2403, 2406, 2602, 2605, and 2804. Other classes may be serviced if one of the tutors present is able to help with that course. Math Lab is staffed by graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants.
