How to Build a CareerTech Portfolio

The CareerTech Portfolio is an online tool which allows Georgia Tech students to input their various achievements into a matrix, comprised of skills such as communication and leadership and experiences including community service and work/co-op/internships.
Incorporated into the matrix are sections for users to describe not only what they have done, but also to reflect on and to illustrate how those experiences have enhanced a particular skill or ability.
Beyond the skills matrix which better enables students to keep track of their involvements, another significant feature of CareerTech is the ability use the information contained in the matrix to create resume templates and to tailor up to three individualized portfolios which can then be accessed by potential employers or organizations during their application processes.
